Molecular formula : Cu(BF4)2
Molecular weight : 237.14
Property : Solid cupirc fluoborate is bright blue needle crystal with hygroscopicity; easily soluble in water; easily produce the complex compound of water and ammonia, so it is hard to produce anhydrous salts. Its typical aqua compounds are tetrahydrate and hexahydrate, in the form of Cu(H2O)n[BF4]2. Its monohydrate is Cu(BF4)2H2O, colorless crystal. The relative density of hexahydrate cupric fluoborate is 2.175. Heated to 40°C, it can decompose to BF3.CuF2 and H2O; at room temperature and in the vaccum, it can decompose into tetrahydrates. Tetrahydrate and monohydrate has strong hygroscopicity. Only when dried by P2O5 for long, it can lose crystal water..
Use : Ingredient of copper and copper alloy electroplating solution. Used as the electroplaing electrolyte roller for printing and dyeing and photograph.
Product quality : Company standard
